First Birthday Celebrations for MamaMoosh

MamaMoosh, a maternity and breastfeeding wear company, is celebrating its first birthday with a stand at The Baby Show at the NEC, Birmingham on 16^th – 18^th May with discounts for purchases made at the show and an exclusive prize draw for visitors to their stand (H170- opposite the Juice Bar) to win £150 in MamaMoosh vouchers.

‘It’s been an exciting first year for us and we have been thrilled at the response from our customers who love the beautiful design of our nightwear but also the practical features such as easy breastfeeding access and adjustable pyjama bottoms so they can be worn after birth too. We have had orders from all over the world and are proud to say our maternity and breastfeeding nightwear is being worn in over 20 countries already,” says Caroline, mum and founder of MamaMoosh.

MamaMoosh’s first product, launched last year, was the Milkscarf – a breastfeeding cover that can also be worn as a regular scarf, so as well as being a dual use accessory it doesn’t even need to take up any room in the bag.

‘Lots of new mothers will feel perfectly at ease breastfeeding in public without being covered up – and so they should! -  but some new mums simply don’t feel comfortable feeding in public without something to cover up with.  The Milkscarf is soft and very light and has a semi rigid neckline that holds the fabric slightly away from the mother’s chest. This means you can easily look down and maintain eye contact with the baby as he feeds which is really important for bonding. It also enables air to circulate to prevent any stuffiness,’ explained Caroline.

At 150 x 60cm the Milkscarf is generously sized so  it will see you through from the newborn stage to an older baby and is even big enough for feeding twins. With a loop that goes round your neck, unlike using a regular blanket or muslin, there’s no danger of it slipping off or being pulled off by a little hand and will easily cover even the wriggliest of babies. It has also been designed to be very quick and easy to put on even with one hand so you don’t have to put your hungry baby down or keep him waiting.
